Beverley Lib Dems not convinced about proposed relocation of Beverley Police Station

The Conservative Police and Crime Commissioner is consulting on closing Beverley Police Station on New Walk and relocating it into an office in County Hall.
We believe this would be a step away from the community, not towards it. A police station should be visible, accessible, and rooted in the community, a place local people know they can turn to at any time.
We believe that there should be a wider consultation with residents about the pros and cons of relocating the police station from its current well known location.
