Liberal Democrat leader Ed Davey will be in East Yorkshire again this April.
This time Ed is helping to campaign against the threat of ReformUK to our region. ReformUK will cut support for the green renewables sector, from which our region benefits via investment and jobs. ReformUK's policies on Brexit have made life more difficult for East Yorkshire farmers and fisherman. ReformUK also promotes a very dangerous and divisive agenda in general for our local communities.
Meanwhile the Labour government is failing to live up to its promises. With a huge majority they should by now be well on with a program to repair the damage done by 14 years of Conservative rule. Inside we get timidity, u-turns and slow progress.
Ed Davey believes in a more open Britain with better relations and trade arrangements with our European neighbours.
You can catch up with Ed at Pearson Park in Hull, 9:30 am, on Wednesday 8th April.
