A WATCH manager from Cookham Fire Station has issued a call for recruits to sign up as retained firefighters. The station in Berries Road, currently has seven retained firefighters, but should have double that, with about 14 or 15.
THE under-fire transport boss at the Royal Borough has admitted the council 'cocked up' a revamp of its bus routes which left a community cut off.
At the Planning Committee tonight the application for a cinema, retail complex and multi storey car park in William Hunter Way was approved.
