The UK could become a "hackers paradise" claims a former Devon MP. Richard Younger-Ross believes if the Prime Minister has his way and bans encryption technologies he will put everyone at risk of being hacked. "David Cameron's suggestion that companies should stop using these security measures is technologically illiterate." he says. "Encryption is now essential to our daily lives, every time I buy online or in a shop that transaction is encrypted. Business rely on secure systems to transfer data, to ban encryption would harm UK business and would make it likely that some data businesses would relocate to France or elsewhere."
