New facilities for young people in Kenyngton Manor Park, Sunbury

Councillor Robbie Collison-Crawford writes:- There is a new venue for young people in Sunbury funded by the Liveability Fund from central government. We now have BMX ramps as a feature in Kenyngton Manor Park and from my daily visits to the park I can see that it is already being used. We are now waiting for the path to be finished which will enable more people to walk, especially anyone with disabilities, around most of the perimeter of the Park on a tarmacadam surface.

Folkestone and Dover Water have introduced a hosepipe ban for domestic customers starting from today. The restrictions follow two successive dry winter periods in the South East.

Dundee LibDems highlight cost of not being green.

Dundee Liberal Democrats today (Sunday 2nd April) highlighted the half-hearted attempt by the Chancellor in the recent budget to appear green, when, in fact, under Labour green taxes will continue to shrink as a proportion of the economy.
