The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales has told LDEG that the EU is the largest and most important market for UK businesses and that its success as a competitive and growing economy which can respond flexibly to the challenges of globalisation is critically important for economic growth in the UK. They also acknowledge that the EU faces some turbulent times ahead due to the combination of a global economic downturn and the growing threat of climate change.

Adding fish to a child's diet, before the age of nine months could lessen the chances of developing eczema. The rate of the painful skin condition has risen in Western countries in recent years, and scientists believe diet may be partly to blame.

More people cleared to give blood

Some people with diabetes and high blood pressure are to be allowed to donate blood for the first time. A committee of experts has ruled it is safe for these groups to give blood, even if they are taking medication to control their condition.
