Folkestone Triennial 2011 Launch

It was a great pleasure to join with hundreds of other people at The Grand to hear the first four Triennial artists named. There was an air of excitement and anticipation in waiting to hear some of the plans, especially being able to remember the last Triennial and having enjoyed the exhibitions.

Lib Dem Deputy Leader, Simon Hughes MP, said: "I am glad that Conference agreed today that there will be a full set of proposals for candidate diversity and that we will have the chance to take decisions to change the face and mix of the Liberal Democrats.

Labour Attack on Children in Care

Two months after Labour Councillors in Slough voted themselves a whopping 46% rise in their own pay the council is set to attack some of the most vulnerable children in the area by launching a massive 50% cut in the allowances paid to foster families to look after children in care.
