20mph through Sandgate Village? Your views wanted.
The Transport Advisory Group (TAG) of Sandgate Parish Council has recently been discussing traffic issues on the A259 through Sandgate Village. In particular there have been concerns about Sandgate Hill at the junction with Coolinge Lane and Radnor Cliff Crescent. The concerns are magnified when parents and children are trying to get to and from school.

Council fouls up on dog fines
Why does it take ages for Mid Sussex District Council to implement its own council's decisions. In July 2008 the Council agreed to use the powers available to it under the Clean Neighbourhoods and Environment Act, such as warnings and spot fines for those who allow dog fouling and loose dogs in public places, and issued a press release that it had now agreed to introduce these changes.

Free Saturday parking long overdue
Lib Dem Leader Cllr David Kendall has welcomed the announcement made by Cllr Louise McKinlay regarding free car parking on a Saturday in all the town centre car parks up to the end of the year but says the news is long overdue and doesn't go far enough.
