Not Good News for Great Park
The new Labour administration on the City Council has decided that the Great Park Advisory Committee will no longer meet. This was an excellent local committee that brought together Developers, the Environment Agency, Council Officers, Residents and Councillors to discuss issues and progress on the development of the Great Park.

Learner drivers driving residents round the bend
Along with the Bungalows area across the Coast Road, Cochrane Park gets more than its fair share of learner drivers! The area is fairly near the test centre in Benton and as it's relatively quiet, it is frequently used by driving schools.

Traffic and Parking in Cochrane Park
Quite a few residents of North Heaton ward have expressed concern about speed problems on residential streets, as well as "cutting corners" and "rat-running" particularly on Longridge Drive and Vancouver Drive to jump the queue on Red Hall Drive.
