Following the events in Manchester last night, we will be suspending campaigning until further notice. Our thoughts are with those affected.

Liberal Democrats suspend campaigning
Tim Farron, leader of the Liberal Democrats, has announced that the party has suspended all national campaigning until further notice. Tim was due to fly to Gibraltar today as part of the general election campaign but has cancelled the trip.

Wolverhampton Campaign suspended following Manchester outrage
Wolverhampton Liberal Democrats offer our sincere condolences and heartfelt sympathy to those who lost a loved one or had a family member injured last night at the Manchester Arena. Acts of terrorism are always cowardly but targeting children and young people who were attending a concert is despicable and abhorrent.
