In the week that controversial new NHS dental contracts come into force across England and Wales, Congleton's Lib Dem Councillor, Simon Davey revealed the number of people in Congleton who are registered with an NHS dentist has already fallen by 15, 400 since Labour came to power.

Congleton Lib Dem's have responded to calls by residents in Lower Heath about the appalling state of grass verges on the cattle market development. Rubble, concrete and litter are strewn across the verges and it is getting worse as the building work continues. It is unsightly not just for the new residents but also those living in the area. It is also the first sight anyone sees arriving in Congleton from Macclesfield or Manchester.
