An interesting poll at the weekend suggested that, if Labour continues to support hard Brexit, the Lib Dems could overtake them as the Opposition in reality as well as ideologically.
The first part of the town to get a reduced speed limit will be College Road and surrounding residential areas. This follows the work done more than a decade ago to get the speed humps and the 'Home Zone' designations.
Residents in Lymm have expressed alarm at the finding of a new report suggesting that the proposed route of HS2 cutting through the eastern part of the village might be at risk of subsidence due to old salt mines.
Figures obtained by South Cumbrian MP Tim Farron reveal that fifteen weapons, including knives, have been found in schools across Cumbria over the last two years. Tim is calling for more resources to help the police keep weapons out of schools.
