Time to Get Involved!

Each time I sit down to write to you, I review the events of the past week and try to select interesting topics to talk about. Recently, this has been a difficult exercise… simply because so much is happening! Whether it's events across the Atlantic, the Trump-May 'love-in', the NHS crisis…. Well, I think you know what I mean! It's not all bad. The Supreme Court decision that Parliament must debate Article 50, and the widespread condemnation of Donald Trump's actions (although not by our own PM) are welcome, and give us hope that we are not living in a parallel universe where 'alternative facts' & naivety rule. Equally encouraging is the continued movement of disillusioned Tory & Labour supporters to our party. An interesting poll at the weekend suggested that, if Labour continues to support hard Brexit, the Lib Dems could overtake them as the Opposition in reality as well as ideologically.
