There are many of us in this room who like me were concerned at the reports talks between ourselves and the Conservative Party. Coming as I do from the south of England I have spent most of my political life campaigning against the Conservative party for votes and seats.
On Sunday 13th June from 2 to 5 pm, 7 gardens across Sandgate will be opened to the public in aid of the Chichester Memorial Hall Restoration Fund.
A series of presentations and opportunities to have your say on a new approach to the development of Folkestone Seafront are to be held at the Quarterhouse in Folkestone.
The proposals for the development of around 13 acres of land fronting Military Road in Sandgate, and stretching along the escarpment to Brewers Hill, also containing Martello Towers 6 & 7 will be on display in Sandgate Library from 6pm until 8pm on Thursday 20th May.
My concerns about whether this coalition was a good idea were removed by actually reading the coalition agreement and seeing the number of policies we have managed to get agreement on.
