Leader of Barnet Liberal Democrats Cllr Jack Cohen is wondering if Barnet Council's left hand knows what its right hand is doing. An eagle eyed resident spotted this odd street signage in West Finchley. Cllr Cohen complains this is yet another example of waste of council taxpayers' money. Cllr Cohen wonders how "any one can have faith in a Council that quite frankly doesn't know where it is going"

Ed Davey MP Backs Dave Hodgson for Mayor

Liberal Democrat Shadow Foreign Secretary Ed Davey MP visited Bedford last night to help Dave Hodgson's campaign to become Mayor of Bedford Borough. Mr Davey spoke to Dave about the key issues for the by-election campaign, and heard about Dave's priorities for supporting the local economy, improving local roads, tackling crime and protecting the environment, before hitting the campaign trail and meeting local residents in Bedford.

Post offices across the South Lakes 'still not safe'

South Lakes MP Tim Farron has uncovered new evidence of the undermining of local post offices by Post Office Ltd. Even after the conclusion of the Government's 'Network Change Programme', post offices across the South Lakes are still under threat, according to the MP.
