Liberal Democrats in Wolverhampton have welcomed a decision by the Coalition Government to let the people decide what sort of voting system should be used to elect Members of Parliament.

The Eruv and Mazeltovs All Round

Tuesday was "planning night "at the Town Hall. All three planning sub committees met. I learned something new. The three committees rotate between using the Council Chamber, Committee room one, and Committee Room three. Not all on one evening but each four weekly cycle. I do not know which panjandrum thought this one up.

Serena Tierney urges local councils to bid for green buses

Local Lib Dem Serena Tierney yesterday called on councils in West Sussex to bid for money to secure green buses after Lewes MP and Transport Minister Norman Baker announced that the government is making £15 million available for over 150 new low carbon buses to join fleets throughout England.
