An increasing number of inmates with serious mental health problems are being held at Edinburgh Prison, inspectors have found. Checks also found long-term prisoners being required to share cells was causing tension and disagreements. Major investment in making transport more user-friendly has not been accompanied by high levels of confidence among disabled users, a survey revealed on the 29th January 2007.
