Congratulations to Richmond Park's Sarah Olney MP from Leicester City Liberal Democrats

Leicester City Liberal Democrats would like to congratulate our colleagues in Richmond Park for their successful election bid for PPC Sarah Olney in yesterday's Richmond Park Parliamentary By-election. The Liberal Democrats now have 9 MPs and have re-taken a seat held by the party between 1997 and 2010. A team effort has overturned a 23000 majority held by the previous MP, Zac Goldsmith into a Liberal Democrat majority of 1872. We wish every success to Sarah in her new role.
