The new GP contract in England has cost the Government £1.76bn more than predicted in its first three years but productivity has fallen, according to a report by the National Audit Office. The spending watchdog also said that primary care trusts had not used powers to force better access for patients.

Please be wary of such emails. Do not click on the links and do not give away any personal data - this is a scam email, and the Inland Revenue issue no such real emails.

East Park's Lib Dem candidate Darren Friel has called for tough action to be taken by Wolverhampton City Council to stop fly tippers dumping their rubbish on open land in Brooklands ÂParade.The land in ÂBrooklands Parade is littered with Âeverything from old Âsettees to mattresses and household waste. Darren said; "The thoughtless people Âresponsible for the Ârubbish is turning the area into an eyesore and causing a public health hazard. It will attract vermin and there is simply no Âexcuse for this antisocial behaviour. Its an added cost to tax payers to clean up after them". This tipping will be searched for Âevidence by Âenforcement officers for prosecution Âpurposes. Offenders can be fined up to £20,000 and/or 6 months' Âimprisonment.
