THE FUTURE OF THE PARKWAY SITE

Councillor Neil Hamilton has welcomed the council's decision not to progress possible plans for some housing on the Parkway site. Although more homes are needed in the area for elderly people in particular, the Catholic Diocese of Newcastle and Hexham has now held discussions with council officers about using the site for the possible expansion of the St John Vianney School.

Local Campaigners Rail Survey

The local Lib Dem team were at Woking station on 18 February distributing Rosie Sharpley's rail survey to early morning travellers.The survey asked passengers about how often they travel by train, how they get to the station and their experience at the station and on the train. "I look forward to hearing from passengers on their current experience of rail travel" said local Lib Dem candidate for MP Rosie Sharpley. "We carried out a similar survey last year" continued Rosie "and we found it an invaluable source of information on rail passengers' current experiences".
