Renegade Councillors called on to resign

Cllr David Foster has called on the two ex "For Darwen" councillors to resign and put their case to the electorate. He said,"Now they have decided to support Labour and change their party label they should have the decency to let the people of Earcroft if they want them as their councillors under their new label."

Lib Dem Shock at Scale of Proposed Cuts

Liberal Democrats at County Hall have reacted with shock at the extent of the cuts being planned by the ruling Conservative administration. The council have announced spending cuts of £122m as a result of central government funding cuts and other "cost pressures" of £100m.
