Members from Newark Local Party have arrived at Liberal Democrat conference in Bournemouth for the Liberal Democrats 2009 Autumn conference. Chairman Brian Cane will be attending a series of conference sessions and debates, training sessions, fringe meetings and more.
The largest ever team to attend the annual Liberal Democrats conference, from the Ludlow constituency, have descended on Bournemouth. Proposals for better control of payments for road repairs made by their Local Committee for Epsom & Ewell back in July, were this week formally accepted at Surrey County Council's first Cabinet Member "decision taking" sessions. County Cllr Colin Taylor, this year's chairman of the Local Committee, attended and welcomed the response from the Cabinet Member for Transport.
