Pro EU Action Day in Glossop on Saturday 17th March!
A pro EU Action Day is going to be held in Glossop on Saturday 17th March. The action day will be running from 10 am to 2 pm, based out of the market arcade on High Street West in the centre of Glossop opposite Norfolk Square. If you can't make the full four hours don't worry as any and all help, even just for a little while, is most welcome from the event organisers which include members of a number of different political parties and some with no political affiliation at all. This is very much a cross party/no party approach!

Former Minister backs campaigners call for railway electrification
A former government minister has backed a call, by Lib Dem campaigners in Hinckley and Bosworth, for the government to stick by its previous pledge to ensure the electrification of the Midland Mainline. Baroness Lorely Burt, who was a Whip in the Coalition Government, is supporting the call for the modernisation of the line, which runs through Leicester and the rest of the East Midlands.
