Guinness World Record Holder to complete each bus route in Leicester
Adrian Barnes, Liberal Democrat candidate for the position of Mayor of Leicester, has been told by some bus drivers that the congestion in the City has added up to 30 minutes to some routes. One of Adrian's supporters is Adham Fisher who holds the Guinness World Records for the fastest time to visit every station on the New York Underground and the Paris Metro.

George Smid: Don't blame the immigrants from lopsided economy.
"European immigrants contribute £5 billion to the economy." "Non EU immigrants cost us £118 billion." "What have the immigrants ever done for us?" Despite the emotional headlines immigration has just simmered under the surface in this election with UKIP apparently monopolising the issue and the solution. Labour and Tories talk about 'control' and 'action'; but surely the real question must be why we have 1.86 million people unemployed and at the same time employ immigrants (300,000 in 2014)? The standard answer is that 'they' are cheaper to employ than British workers. Is that true?
