Liberal Democrat County Councillors David Kendall and Barry Aspinell went on a recent tour of Brentwood High Street (23/5/11) with Mark Redgewell of Essex County Council to discuss and identify the number of unfinished works in the High Street which are making it look an eyesore. Work starts this weekend to refurbish a motorway bridge near junction 8 of the M20 near Maidstone in Kent. The Chrismill bridge, which carries the motorway over the Maidstone East railway line, will be fully resurfaced and rewaterproofed, drainage will be improved and important components will be replaced.
