Heather Kidd has called for a re-think on government proposals to extend police powers, which are supposed to prevent criminals enjoying luxury lifestyles, being given to councils and other public bodies. These could then be used against ordinary members of the public.

Wolverhampton Liberal Democrats are calling for all public spending to be accounted for and for the City's three MPs to support a motion in Parliament regarding the publishing of Local Spending Reports, which will show a breakdown of how all public money is spent.
The expected formal planning application by London & Quadrant Housing Trust to convert the redundant water tower on Livingstone Park for housing has now been registered by the borough council. Lib Dem ward councillors have called a Public Meeting to be held on site next to the Water Tower at 10.00 am on Saturday 7th November.
