Gibbons Grove flooding soon to end
For years the turning circle at the end of a small side street cul-de sac called Gibbons Grove would flood every time there was heavy rain. The main problem seems to be that the existing drain gully is located at the highest point in the circle and so is ineffective. Now, thanks to the campaigning and hard work of the Liberal Democrat Councillors these flooding problems may soon be a thing of the past. Liberal Democrat Councillors have been petitioning Wolverhampton Council's Transport and Regeneration Division for repairs to Gibbons Grove. Thanks to their persistence the work to put in additional gullies will be taking place in March.
