Jubilant Shropshire Liberal Democrats are celebrating after gaining two more Conservative seats in a double council by-election victory after a nailbiting count at the Shirehall in Shrewsbury last night.

The Highways Agency is introducing variable speed limits and other measures on the M5 and M4 around the Almondsbury Interchange. Work began in January and should be completed in 2014.
LGBT+ Liberal Democrats will be at Welsh Liberal Democrats conference this Saturday, at a fringe meeting with Stonewall Cymru entitled "The Fourth Assembley: What Next for LGBT People in Wales".
