Hertfordshire Liberal Democrats produce an “Alternative Herts County Council Annual Report”

At the last Hertfordshire County Council Meeting the Conservative Majority Group presented the customary Annual Report that they had asked council officers to produce. If you'd like to see just how Hertfordshire County Council views it's performance, you can take a look at their published Annual Report for 2014-15 on the County Council's website. The report reviews expenditure and illustrates just how much the Conservative-led council is reducing spending.

What's happening in Fawdon Ward this month, and latest news

Coming up this Saturday 8th, from 12 noon to 4pm - free Family Fun Day in the park in North Kenton. The park is accessed via Hillsview Avenue/Newlyn Road/Kirkwood Drive/Halewood Avenue. The event is funded by the Fawdon and Kenton Ward Committees. All welcome. Fingers crossed for sunshine! Last year they were awarded funds from the Council's UDecide programme and on 15th August they would like to showcase what they have achieved with this money and hopefully start recruiting individuals and other community groups to make use of the new facilities which include a classroom, composting toilet and community plot whereby individuals or groups can adopt one or two beds to grow in.
