The Council is consulting on the installation of a single parking bay for a car club in Ivy Road, West Gosforth. Common Wheels Car Club is a social enterprise and allows members to rent cars for a period of as little as an hour. Members of the club can collect and return the car from the designated bay. This business operation might be useful for occasional car users and could be a means of helping to promote environmental protection and control of congestion.
