Tackling homophobic bullying in Cardiff schools

The Liberal Democrat Leader of Cardiff Council, Rodney Berman, has welcomed the success of a pilot programme aimed at challenging and raising awareness of homophobic and transphobic bullying in Cardiff schools.

Laura Edge is the Liberal Democrat choice to fight the Finchley and Golders Green Constituency at the next general election. Laura, age 30, is currently a councillor in Haringey. A well-known campaigner, Laura works as a housing solicitor for a legal aid firm providing advice and representation to some of the most vulnerable in society. Laura has also worked as a volunteer advisor Barnet Citizens Advice Bureau.

Clements Park

No review for unhappy residents in Clements Park

Brentwood's Conservative administration has ruled out a full review of the overall parking restrictions in Clements Park, despite a number of unhappy residents. Parking restrictions, of which there are significant amounts of double yellow lines, were introduced in December 2007.
