Rugby - No place for Hate Crime
Here in Rugby, Liberal Democrats were on both sides of the debate during the EU Referendum, however we stand side by side together to say hate crime of any kind will not be tolerated in our town. "We are proud to live in a diverse and tolerant society. Racism, xenophobia and hate crimes have no place in Rugby, either in our streets or online in social media. We condemn racism, xenophobia and hate crimes unequivocally. We will continue to work to ensure local bodies and programmes have support and resources needed to fight and prevent racism and xenophobia and would reassure all people from what ever background living in Rugby that they are valued members of our local community."
