The 'fair deal' offered by Stephen and the Liberal Democrats include: abolish Council tax (which has DOUBLED in Essex under the Conservatives in the last ten years), and cut income tax by 4p per £ - for everyone.

A wheelchair user has been paid £3,000 after being refused entry to a County Armagh bar which holds weekly meetings for people with disabilities. Catherine Harvey, who has spinal injuries, was turned away from the Cellar Bar in Lurgan.
A six-year-old boy with a serious heart condition has had his disability living allowance stopped. The County Londonderry child has had open heart surgery three times, and is now waiting for a fourth operation. The boy's mother Anne gave up her job to care for him and is now living on income support.
A blind solicitor from Perth is threatening to take American Express to court because he can no longer read his credit card statements online. In December, the firm changed its statements to a format which cannot be read by special software used by the visually impaired.
