Rowen Joins Arthritis Research Campaign Board of Trustees!
Paul Rowen, MP for Rochdale, has joined the board of trustees of the Arthritis Research Campaign (ARC) Paul, a Lib Dem Work and Pension Minister, who has been headhunted for the role said, "'It is an honour to be chosen to help with the work of such a respected and worthwhile organisation which does incredible work for those suffering from a debilitating disease. I hope that I can provide the link between ARC and Parliament, ensuring that their work is put into practice at the earliest possible opportunity'

Respected Comedian
The Annual Council Meeting on Tuesday was more surreal than ever. We were back at the Town Hall Hendon following refurbishment; except that the works still had not been completed. Someone told me that the Town Hall resembled a building site on the previous Friday. Staff had worked all hours to make the Town Hall presentable for the Mayor making. Well done to the staff, but I for one would have been just as happy to have continued at Barnet House. Goodness knows what the cost to the taxpayer is for all the overtime.
