VICE PRESIDENT OF EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT VISITS SCARBOROUGH
Yesterday Diana Wallis, the first British woman Vice President of the European Parliament visited Scarborough to meet young voters. Diana, Liberal Democrat MEP for Yorkshire and the Humber spoke to students at Scarborough Sixth Form College about her role in the European Parliament. She was invited to speak by the College's Debating Society and fielded questions ranging from the demise of the teaching of foreign languages in schools to Sharia Law.
