Reported on the Windsor Express / Advertiser website, teachers from Windsor and Ascot spoke out about concerns that Windsor Schools are missing out on their fair share of funding within the borough at the Royal Borough's children's services overview and scrutiny panel on Tuesday.

Following consultation with residents of Paget Road Councillor Claire Darke is seeking further views from residents about the proposed new street lines and parking arrangements for the busy residential road. Councillor Darke said "Paget Road is blighted by people using it as a rat-run while at the same time being a popular residential street. I have been working with residents and the Council to try to help improve the parking situation while at the same time keep the traffic moving."

The Norwich North Parliamentary by-election result saw Labour's vote collapse. Having won the seat with 45% of the vote at the general election, they polled 18% on Thursday. This was a damning rejection of the way the Government is running the country and in particular Labour's handling of the economic crisis.
