Everyone interested in Rugby's environment has a difficult choice this evening. Do they go and support the Sustainable Rugby meeting at the Town Hall at 7pm or do they go and support the Save Oakfield campaign meeting at the Indian Centre in Edward Street also at 7pm?

Some of the 15,000 members who joined the Liberal Democrats since the 7th May elections met up in Chelmsford today. Patching Hall ward candidate Chris Davidson hosted them at his house.

The result of the District Council Elections on 7th May was that Three Rivers District Council now has 19 Liberal Democrat councillors, 17 Conservative councillors and 3 Labour councillors.
