Free school meals for infants locally
Hinckley County Councillor Michael Mullaney has welcomed the news that from September 2014 all infant school pupils including 21,900 in Leicestershire will benefit from a free hot and healthy meal at lunchtime.

The video was commissioned by Action For Land Taxation and Economic Reform (ALDER) a Lib Dem pressure group and the Coalition for Economic Justice (CEJ). Leicestershire County Council today released a map showing their current expectations for broadband deployments. They stress that it is only a preliminary plan and that changes may be made as work goes on but residents will be pleased to finally see an outline of what is planned.
