South Lakes MP Tim Farron has welcomed the news that the Regional Growth Fund (RGF) has awarded Cumbria Chamber of Commerce £4 million to support businesses throughout the county, as part of a £50.4 million package of extra funding from the Regional Growth Fund to help companies in the North West.
The Langdale Valley Association have completed and handed in the required forms to begin the process of registering Stickle Tarn as a community asset. They have been backed by local councillor Heidi Halliday and South Lakes MP Tim Farron.
