Tim uses World AIDS day to call for an HIV-free generation by 2015

Marking World AIDS Day, Liberal Democrat party president-elect Tim Farron MP boarded the Stop AIDS Campaign bus outside Parliament this week to show his support for the effort to bring an end to children being born with HIV by 2015. Tim met with campaigners from the Stop AIDS Campaign and joined them in their call for the government to lead the world in the effort to deliver an AIDS-free generation by giving its fair share to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria.

Sandgate's Chichester Hall have purchased a table tennis table, and are keen to hear from anyone who would like to organise sessions, particularly for Sandgate's young people, to use the table - maybe setting up a club or drop-in event.

Nick Clegg speech to OSCE summit

Liberal Democrat Leader and Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg earlier in the week delivered a speech to the Organisation for Security Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) summit in Kazakhstan. He also met Hillary Clinton and the South Korean foreign minister.
