KAREN ROBINSON along with fellow North Heaton councillors Doreen and Greg want to tighten up local planning rules to restrict further
Your North Heaton Lib Dem councillors - KAREN, DOREEN, and GREG, have welcomed plans to invest £500,000 in local road improvements through the council's Local Transport Plan. Half of this sum will be spent on improvements to the busy Coast Road / Chillingham Road roundabout and the Coast Road / Benfield Road interchange bridges, and a similar amount spent on improving pedestrian safety at the Corner House junction. In addition we will continue to identify priorities for local road and pavement resurfacing schemes through our local ward highways budget. We welcome £250,000 extra funding for improvements to cycling routes in the city, and want to see the Cradlewell / Sandyford Road route made safer for cyclists.
