Wiltshire Council are being asked to support a scheme to restore the Town Hall to life. Its use as a coroners court will end in October. A plan to use the building as a community and arts centre is being drawn up by the 'Trowbridge Town Hall Group', which consists of local councillors and interested residents.
On Tuesday 20th March a new project to support and encourage all schools in Trowbridge to get their children growing their own food and enjoying their grounds will celebrate its launch.
Sylvia & Phil continue to campaign to get all our roads up to standard. The latest successes being Costwold Close and Vicars Walk. We know that there are still many roads in dire need of resurfacing, however it is not possible to do them all at once. Goldington has to compete with all the other parts of the borough and we will continue to press for Goldington's roads to be done.
Kent County Council is due to carry out essential maintenance work on Enbrook Valley, Enbrook Road, Fremantle Road and Romney Avenue (their entire lengths) in preparation for future surfacing. Only one road will be closed at a time.
