More children than in previous years have secured their first choice secondary school in Wiltshire, but nearly 300 are still not getting into any of their school preferences.

The Highways Agency is introducing variable speed limits and other measures on the M5 and M4 around the Almondsbury Interchange. Work began in January and should be completed in 2014.
