Parklands Ward Report 2015 - Part 2 - your views

Thank you to all of those residents who returned the Residents' Survey form to us, or completed it on line. You let us know about your views and made us aware of your local issues and concerns. We are already following up on specific issues mentioned and will keep you informed of progress in Focus and in our new efocus. Parklands Ward Report 2015 - Part 1 - grants to voluntary groups

Those residents who attend the Parklands Ward Committee meetings, which are held 4 times a year, will know that we have a small amount of money available which we are able to give to local groups in the form of small grants. The aim of these grants is to help local groups that in some way benefit Parklands residents. Sometimes the group may not be based within Parklands Ward but it may be that the some members of the group that use the facility live within the ward.

Miswell Lane Crossing Open

Miswell Lane, Tring, Crossing Eventually Opens After a Month's Delay

Liberal Democrat county councillor, Nick Hollinghurst, after over a year's campaigning and lobbying on behalf of local parents and residents, was delighted when the council's contractors started to mark out the new zebra crossing in Miswell Lane, Tring. It was positioned just where two footpaths, well used as routes to Goldfield School, cross the busy Miswell Lane.
