If they don’t meet their promises, we deserve our say on the Brexit deal.
Maybe it's slipped the Chancellor of the Exchequer's mind. He must have a lot to think about right about now. The long-term downward trend predictions for the British economy; the volatile dip in jobs and investment seen in July; the slumping value of sterling. Not an easy in-tray. But, in case he has forgotten, a few months ago some bold spending promises were made. The British people were promised £350 million extra per week for our NHS if they voted to leave the EU.

New charges for domestic waste disposal will encourage fly-tipping
Tory run Surrey have started to charge for some of the items we want to take to the tip. We greatly fear that the "tax" will increase fly tipping across the borough as individuals are met with huge costs for disposal of their rubbish.

Today I'm sickened by the actions of Shepway Council having had written notificationthat they have refused even to accept the call-in of the decision of Cabinet Member Malcolm Dearden to impose a Sandgate CPZ for consideration by Overview and Scrutiny Committee.
