EE Comes to Shropshire......at last!!
After months of campaigning EE have at last agreed to send a spokesman to talk to residents and their representatives in the Clun and Bishops Castle area where the campaign started in April. Heather, wo is Chair of the Local Joint Committe* for Clun, Bishops Castle, Chirbury and Worthen, said "After months of fobbing off EE are at long last sending John Carwadine their Head of Community Affairs to speak to our local Joint Committee. When I think of all the letters and phone calls, the petitions we've run and the people we've lobbied getting them to come has been very hard work.They could have avoid all the negative publicity in the STAR and elsewhere if they just responded to residents properly in the first place. "We are also expecting a response back from Vince Cable MP, the business Minister shortly. I know from his team that they have taken up the issue with EE's Corporate Affairs Department.
