Wolverhampton's Liberal Democrat Euro MP Liz Lynne has called on India to stop its soldiers from routinely using live ammunition to control crowds after at least 18 people were shot dead in one day in Indian-controlled Kashmir.

Shepway District Council workers have to do some pretty disgusting things, not least of them clearing up a pubic recreation area of the dog mess left by selfish dog owners.

Eaten by The Wolves
The shepherd always tries to persuade the sheep that their interest and his are the same. Substitute hers for his and there you have the summary of what happened at Tuesday's Council meeting. The Tory lambs returned to the fold so the council leader comfortably won the vote of confidence. I am reminded of the proverb "Who makes himself a sheep will be eaten by the wolves".

Lib Dem councillors demand highways clarity
Liberal Democrat councillors have called for the Conservative administration to come clean and tell residents whether key road improvement schemes, such as the much-needed improvements at Sandpit Lane and Devil's Head, will ever come to fruition.
