The North Heaton Focus Team has welcomed the Lib Dem-run council's decision to extend 20mph zones across all residential streets across Newcastle.
The new blue recycling bins have now been introduced across most of the ward and we are pleased that most residents are finding them very easy to use.
Many residents continue to ask us about the future of the post office on Newton Road after the previous postmaster decided to close his business.
