Liberal Democrat Candidate Lynne Beaumont has thanked voters across Folkestone and Hythe for their support in the General Election, and congratulated new Folkestone and Hythe MP Damian Collins for winning the seat.

Stephen Robinson has thanked the over 20,000 people who voted Liberal Democrat in Chelmsford and the team of Liberal Democrat helpers who delivered such a brilliant campaign. The result in Chelmsford saw a collapse in the Labour vote (from 27% to 11%) and almost no shift of support from Lib Dem to the Conservative. Thank you to all those who voted Liberal Democrat in the recent election. Our candidate, Julia Bateman, received 7,350 votes, an increase both in the number of votes and the share of the votes cast for the Libdems in Gedling.
