Lorely Burt, MP for Solihull, has welcomed new figures which show the West Midlands economy is growing rapidly. The latest PMI (Purchasing Managers' Index) data shows that the West Midlands private sector was the fastest growing in the UK over the previous month in terms of both output and jobs, with job creation at its fastest level since 1997.
