Bringing Scarborough Athletic Football Club home to Scarborough
Had a great day yesterday meeting people with Andy Ellis the Liberal Democrats Focus Editor for Falsgrave Park. While football isn't my favourite sport, it was good to discuss bringing Scarborough Athletic Football Club home to Scarborough with the club Chairman Dave Holland. This would create more demand for Scarborough tourist industry, more work locally and more opportunities for the community to make use of the facilities. This is an exciting development and I urge people to support their local football team in this endeavour. The LIDL development proposal seemed positive, we offered constructive feedback hoping for an improvement to the entrance area to minimise traffic congestion.
