Guide Dogs for blind people and Hearing Dogs for deaf people are included in an umbrella term "Assistance Dogs" covering dogs trained to help people with a variety of disabilities.

St Peter's campaigner, Zahid Shah, has joined Councillor Claire Darke in the campaign to have every road and street equipped with a full set of street name plates. Zahid said, "Even though many drivers now have sat nav it is still important that all our roads should be clearly identifiable. Name plates that are covered in graffiti degrade the neighbourhood and must be cleaned and kept clean."
